The Rehabilitation of the Baseball Park Modesto Camacho Román in the Municipality of Trujillo Alto El Conquistador housing development have an eco-friendly vision in their design. It consisted of a main structure of reinforced concrete and steel blocks. These facilities provide space for an administration office, bleachers for spectators, canteen, bathroom facilities and locker-room for players. The design re-oriented the direction of the facilities to maximize the space for the development so that the operation of the facilities do not affect the residential area, minimize the impact to the land and existing levels and make new spaces for parking. The remodelling did not cause significant impact and sought to fulfil design and construction strategies such as using eco-friendly paint that keeps low content of volatile organic compounds, that are less harmful to users and the environment; new lighting fixture with high efficiency and low consumption; lighting the entrance of the main building consists of solar lights; the entry of natural light into the interior spaces to minimize dependence on artificial light during the day; installation of sanitary equipment with low water consumption and installation of related equipment for the first phase of the system for collecting and recycling rainwater. Carcongroup Eng. was responsible from the beginning to the end of the project inspection and construction management.
