The remodeling of the Paramount Theatre in Santurce Puerto Rico was a project in which Carcongroup Eng. helped the Land Administration of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to develop in phases. The first phase was the asbestos and lead removal and partially demolition of the historical building. Carcongroup Eng. prepared the bid document, assist in the bidding procedure and recommend a contractor for the work. Carcongroup Eng. was the construction management and inspector for the asbestos and lead removal and partially demolition phase.

 
The second phase was the remodeling of the historical building and the new construction of the seven floors building. Carcongroup Eng. was the construction management and inspector for the second phase as well. The effort between inspector, architect, owner and contractor was truly collaborative.
